Loose-forward, Reed Prinsep will captain the Hurricanes when they meet Moana Pasifika in Super Rugby Pacific tonight.

Coach Jason Holland has rested All Blacks Ardie Savea, Jordie Barrett and Tyrel Lomax but TJ Perenara returns at halfback.

The Hurricanes will seek redemption tonight after becoming Moana Pasifika's first Super Rugby victims last month.

Meanwhile, Wallabies veteran Christian Leali'ifano will lead Moana Pasifika, as coach Aaron Mauger retains the inside-back combination that vanquished the Hurricanes last month.

With hooker Luteru Tolai also injured, Sam Molie will wear the No.2 jersey, while Lolagi Visinia will start his first match at fullback for the newcomers against his former team.

The Moana Pasifika will meet the Hurricanes at 7.05 tonight.

In other matches this week, the Hurricanes will meet Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Crusaders will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will play the Rebels at 9.45pm Friday, the Chiefs will meet Moana Pasifika at 4.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will take on the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday and the Force will face the Waratahs at 9.45pm Saturday.
