The race to secure a spot in the knockout rounds of the 48th Extra Fiji Primary Schools Football Inter-District Championship 2025 heats up today at King Charles Park, Nadi.
Rakiraki has already made history by becoming the first team to qualify for the quarterfinals after an impressive unbeaten run in Pool B.
The western side secured early qualification with 10 points from four matches, including three wins and one draw.
Tournament coordinator Vishaal Raj Goundar praised the team’s form and discipline, saying Rakiraki’s consistency reflects the rising standard of primary school football in Fiji. Goundar adds that Rakiraki have been one of the most organised and determined teams this year.
With only a few spots left in the knockout stage, today’s matches promise high drama and intensity.
