The price of unleaded fuel, premix and gas will decrease from Sunday.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says the price of a litre of unleaded fuel will decrease by 6 cents from $1.98 to $1.92 per litre while the price of premix will go down from $1.61 to $1.55 per litre.

Kerosene price will also go down from $1.05 to $1.00 per litre.

The price of diesel will go down from $1.63 to $1.54 per litre.

The price of a 4.5kg gas cylinder will decrease from $11.66 to $11.49 while the price of a 12kg cylinder of gas will cost $30.63.

A 13kg gas cylinder will cost $33.18.

FCCC say the fuel price in Fiji is impacted by the international freight rate and the exchange rate.

They say the fluctuations noted in local fuel prices for November 2020 are due to favourable movements noted in the international prices for Motor Spirit, Premix, Kerosene and Diesel.
