Good news for people as the price of gas and fuel is going down from tomorrow, with the price of a 12kg gas cylinder going down by $6.06.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says the price of 12kg gas cylinder will now cost $38.59, a huge reduction of 13.57 percent.

A 4.5 kilogram of gas cylinder will cost $14.47 from $16.74, a reduction of 13.56 percent.

Bulk gas will now cost $2.89 per kilogram while the price of auto gas will be $1.98 per kilogram.

The price of unleaded fuel remains the same at $2.74 per litre.

Diesel price goes down by 10 cents to $2.41 per litre, while the price of premix fuel will be $2.58 and reduce by 5 cents.

A litre of kerosene will cost $1.93 from $2.07.

FCCC says the fuel price review in Fiji follows a one-month lag period, as such, the May 2023 local fuel price is based on imports made by fuel companies in March 2023.
