Let’s make a difference in the lives of the children who are in need of our help and let us Walk On Walk Strong.

Those were the words of President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere while conveying his support towards the Fiji Water Flying Fijians’ 30 kilometres Cardio Challenge cause for the WOWS Kids Fiji.

Ratu Wiliame says as the Head of State and patron of the Fiji Rugby Union, he is immensely proud of this initiative and applauds the Flying Fijians for using their platform in employing their resources to spread the message of walk on walk strong.

He says as a grandfather, he personally supports this challenge as any grandparent would do if it affects the well-being of our children.

Ratu Wiliame says these past few months we have seen some great rugby played by our Flying Fijians and the history in the making is the recent 30-22 historic win over England last week.

He has reaffirmed to the Flying Fijians team the Nation’s support towards the Cardio Challenge and thanked the players and management for their consideration of such a worthy cause.

The Flying Fijians yesterday announced their London to Bordeaux 30km Cardio Challenge to support children and families battling cancer and also to raise funds for them.

Each player and management are required to complete 30km in a matter of 5 days whether it be walking, running, riding a bicycle or rowing.

The Flying Fijians will kick off their RWC campaign against Wales on the 11th of next month at 7am.

The RWC will begin next Saturday with the first game between hosts France and the All Blacks at 7.15am.

Meanwhile, people can donate towards this cause through the M-Paisa app by selecting the business payments option, select more and search for Fiji Rugby Football Union Trust Board, enter the amount and narration and confirm payment.

You can also donate through Westpac Bank transfer with the account name FRUTB-FWFF WOWS for kids fund and the account number of 9508238449. The BSB number is 039001 with the swift code WPACFJFX
