Ashlin Alveena Prasad will represent Fiji at the Miss Earth 2024 competition, organized by Carousel Productions with the grand finals set to take place on the 9th of next month in Okada, Manila, Philippines.

Prasad says she is proud to represent the beautiful and friendly island nation of Fiji.

She says from a young age, she has embraced opportunities to connect with diverse communities, serving as a translator at the Word of Life Christian Centre.

She says her leadership journey began in her school days when she became the first team captain of IQ Active Fiji for Swami Vivekananda College.

She further says these experiences taught her resilience, teamwork and the importance of giving back.

She adds, in addition to her community work, she has modeled for Jacks of Fiji and represented Fiji at the Queen of International Tourism 2024.

Prasad says her true passion lies in advocating for environmental sustainability, particularly soil regeneration and sustainable practices.

She attributes her love for nature to her family’s teachings and emphasizes the importance of restoring the land to protect Fiji’s natural heritage and ensure a sustainable future.

She says for her , the Miss Earth pageant is more than just a title; it’s a platform to raise awareness about environmental sustainability.

The grand finals will be televised on the Kapamilya channel on the 10th of next month at 10am.
