Rajendra Prasad has been elected as the President of the newly formed Korovou Chamber of Commerce.

This is a milestone achievement for a small business community that is pushing for Korovou to be declared a town.

Business community members gathered today at the Korovou District Officer's boardroom for the Korovou Chamber of Commerce Committee meeting.

Yvonne Quai Hoi was elected Secretary, and Tony Chang was elected Treasurer.

While speaking to the media, Prasad acknowledged the business community for having the faith and trust in him to lead the Chamber of Commerce at Korovou.

He is urging the newly formed committee to work not only for the benefit of the business community but everyone who use Korovou as their main business area.

He adds that one of their main priorities will be the declaration of Korovou as a town so that every fund collected is used for its development.

He also raised serious concerns that they have been left out by previous administration in terms of development.
