Serious concerns are now being raised by drivers on the number of potholes on the streets in and around Suva that are being cut out, marked, and left to be sealed later by road contractors.

This has resulted in severe damages to vehicles.

fijivillage News has received reports from drivers of deeply cut out holes with yellow markings proving to be a major hazard.

Some drivers have said this has affected their car tyres and rims, to the point it has been damaged, and need a complete replacement.

Taxi drivers say these repair works also chew into their income.

Questions have been sent to the Fiji Roads Authority.

Many are asking why the deeply cut out potholes and neglected potholes are not being sealed, and left by the contractors.

The FRA has not responded.
