Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber says the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is a positive thing for them as they are making plans for their future gold medal title defence.

Baber says this will give them more time for some of their layers who sustained injuries to recover and also give few other players more game time.

He adds as a team they support the decision made by the International Olympics Committee to postpone the Games as this decision is much bigger than themselves.

He says it is important they have that self-management and self-awareness, ensuring players will put their hands up to be an Olympian when next year arrives.

Meanwhile, World Rugby has postponed the Hong Kong and Singapore tournaments till October and London and Paris till September.
