Communities are continuing work around building safer neighborhoods together with the assistance from Police.

Members of the Jittu Estate Community in collaboration with Police have carried out community Policing initiatives and this has so far delivered desired outcomes.

Following another meeting with members of the Crime Prevention Committees, Chief Operations Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan says there had been notable positive changes with regards to the reports of criminal related activities received from the area, and more could be done to change the perception people have of Jittu Estate.

He says Police will continue to work with the Crime Prevention Committees and support initiatives aimed at empowering youths in the area.

Discussions were also held for a community fun-day for the sake of forging better relations between members of the community and relevant stakeholders.
