Police yet to classify death of the man whose body was found on the driveway of a Suva motel

Police are yet to classify the death of the man who was found lying motionless with visible injuries on the driveway of a motel in Suva on Saturday morning.

According to Police, the man who was in his 20s had accompanied some friends to the motel when they were allegedly confronted by another group of men who were blocking the driveway.

Police say a fight broke out and the man was allegedly struck with a metal object.

He then fell to the ground and became unconscious.

Police say he was taken to the CWM Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
