Police will enforce the law at the Coke Games - Driu

As the excitement builds for the Coca-Cola Games that will be held from tomorrow, Police have reiterated that they will enforce the law at the Coca-Cola Games.

This message been delivered by Police Chief Operations Officer ACP Livai Driu.

Officers from the Police Special Response and K9 Unit will be pushed forward to assist with operations.

Police will be putting in place measures leading up to the start of the meet tomorrow.

Driu had earlier said traffic officers will be conducting random checks and are warning students and supporters that they will not hesitate to confiscate items such as flags if they see it is being used in an unsafe manner.

They have also spoken to bus operators who have assured them of their support in ensuring that what transpired last week isn’t repeated where students were seen behaving in an unruly manner
