Police will be visiting the Asian vessel that was attacked by five Fijians in masks on Thursday night.

Police say a report has been lodged with them yesterday afternoon.

In a video shared widely on social media, crew members of an Asian fishing vessel and some Fijians were in an argument and throwing equipment at each other on board a vessel.

The video shows five Fijian men in masks throwing pipes and fishing equipment at the Asian crew on the vessel.

The Asian crew members were armed with long pipes to defend themselves.

It is not clear as to what the argument is about.
