The 35-year-old mechanic whose body was discovered at the Toga Bridge in Nausori at 5am yesterday was last seen leaving his Nakasi home on Tuesday.
Police say according to the wife, the man left his house on Tuesday morning and did not return home.
Police officers are currently trying to gather information regarding his whereabouts on Tuesday and are also calling on the public to come forward with information.
The post-mortem examination is yet to be conducted.
It is not clear at this stage whether there were visible injuries on his body.
