Police Service 2 secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Army Service 2 in the Men’s Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Volleyball competition today.
The Police side took control early, winning the first set 25–19 before Army responded strongly in the second set, levelling the match with a 27–25 victory.
The decisive third set saw Police Service 2 maintain their composure to close out the game 15–12.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Police Service 2 coach Jale Ragugu says the team’s calm approach and thorough preparation were key to their performance.
Meanwhile Police Wives delivered a strong performance, defeating Army Wives in straight sets.
They took the opening set 25–22, followed by a convincing 25–16 win in the second.
However, Police Wives then sealed their victory with a 15–8 result in the third set.
