Police are still searching for the man who was a passenger in the vehicle involved in the accident that claimed the lives of a woman and a boy in Nausori early this morning.

The man had brought the child to the Nausori Health Centre.

Police say they know the man’s identity.

The driver allegedly lost control of the car while overtaking a truck and that caused it to veer off the road and hit a post.

According to Police, the woman died at the scene while the boy was rushed to the Nausori Health Centre where he was pronounced dead.
