Police have confirmed that they have received the complaint by the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre

Police have confirmed that they have received the complaint by the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre regarding cyber bullying, intimidation and threat and says a thorough investigation will be conducted into the matter.

This is after the FWCC filed a complaint against Pita Driti for alleged cyberbullying and intimidation and a person named Caleb Furry for the threat of burning the FWCC building on social media.

FWCC Coordinator Shamima Ali says they have submitted all evidence and documents required and are told by the police to wait for 7 to 21 days and call every day to find out about it which seems aimless.

Ali says there was also a death threat against her about 2 months ago and they are still waiting for an update from the police.

Assistant Commissioner of Crime Mesake Waqa says the feedback on police complaints is given in 7 to 21 days.

He says the 7 and 21 days are directive on giving feedback to complaints.

ACP Waqa says if the complainant requests feedback any other time, it will be given.
