The Police officer who allegedly raped a woman at the Valelevu Police single men’s barracks last Sunday and fled the scene has been remanded by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
27-year-old Kolinio Naturaga is charged with one count of rape.
The victim is a 26-year-woman and is not related to Naturaga.
The matter will be called in the Suva High Court next Thursday.
