Police are now investigating a report of an alleged sexual offence that has been lodged by one of the contestants of the Miss Universe Fiji 2024.

We have received confirmation from Police that a contestant has claimed that she was raped by a man who was working at the same event.

The alleged incident occurred at a resort.

fijivillage news has also sent questions to Miss Universe 2024 on the issue regarding how the Miss Universe Fiji license was issued and the processes followed for the pageant following several issues of concern being raised when the event was held here.

We have also sent questions to Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka on whether the government will look into all these issues as our country’s name is being used in this pageant, and also on how foreign nationals are getting the license to have the Fiji pageant.

Stay with us for developments.
