Police are hunting for the driver allegedly involved in a hit and run accident which claimed the life of a 19-year-old farmer from Namuaimada Village in Ra along Kings Highway on Saturday night.
The man was riding his bike with another villager when he was allegedly hit by an unknown vehicle.
He was rushed to the Rakiraki Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the Land Transport Authority had said on last Friday that police were on the hunt for a suspect after another alleged hit and run which claimed another life.
Police are urging people who may have information that could assist the investigation to call the Western Division Command Centre on 9905 457.
The road death toll currently stands at 20 compared to 35 for the same period last year.
