Police are searching for Mosese Vakacegu who escaped from the Nasinu Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Members of the public are requested to call Crime Stoppers Fiji on 919 or their nearest police station if they have sighted Vakacegu or know of his whereabouts.
Police are also requesting members of the public to be patient as checkpoints will be put up as part of the search efforts.
An internal investigation will also be conducted to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his escape from lawful custody.
