Police Blue secure semifinal spot in Tabadamu 7s

Local series champions Police Blue have fought their way back to the 7s competition and are marching through to the semi-finals of the Fiji Bitter Tabadamu 7s after defeating Dominion Brothers 15-10 in their quarterfinal.

The men in blue thrashed Wainimala Babas 24-0 and defeated Colo-i-Suva 7-0 during the pool games yesterday.

They then thrashed Metromix Nasinu 26-0 in the elimination round earlier today.

National 7s players Terio Tamani, Filipe Sauturaga and Suliano Volivoli are currently in the team with Livai Ikanikoda leading the pack.

Also through to the semifinals this afternoon are BLK Lavidi, Fire and Ravuka Sharks.

BLK Lavidi defeated EMS Tabadamu 19-7 during the first quarter final, Fire won against Army Green 14-12 and Nakavu lost to Ravuka Sharks 7-0.

Police Blue will face BLK Lavidi in the first semifinal and Fire to face Ravuka Sharks in the second semifinal this afternoon.
