Defending Super 7s Series champions, Police Blue will miss some of their key players for the first leg of the Fun Flavor Super 7s Series this week.

Former Fiji 7s reps Kitione Taliga and Kalione Nasoko have joined the Fijian Drua for the Super Rugby Pacific.

Manager, Seremaia Sotia says Waisea Nacuqu may also not feature as they have not received his clearance from the Ministry of Health.

He says they have developed some players from past years and these new players will fill the vacuum left by Taliga, Nasoko and Nacuqu. Filipe Sauturaga and Joseva Talacolo are currently training with Police.

The first leg of the Fun Flavor Super 7s Series will be held from Thursday to Saturday at Lawaqa Park.
