The Police Netball team started off their Ratu Sukuna Bowl Netball Challenge campaign on a high note as the Police 2 team defeated Army 2 40-31 at the Netball Centre.
They led 20-15 in the first two quarters but Army came back firing in the third quarter to close the gap to 28-23.
The Police side shot 12 points in the fourth quarter to give them the victory.
Meanwhile, the Police football team defeated Army 2-1 in the Sukuna Bowl football challenge.
The Sukuna Bowl Challenge between Army and Police will be played at 4pm this afternoon at the ANZ Stadium.
