Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prop, Mesake Doge

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prop, Mesake Doge, is looking forward to the start of the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season to showcase his rugby talent in front of his family.

The 29-year-old signed with the Drua in August last year for the next two Super Rugby Pacific seasons.

He says seeing the fans cheering last year is something he is excited about, but it will be special for him to play in front of his family.

Doge says he wished the things happening now were around nine years ago since many talented Fijian rugby players have come through the ranks without proper facilities such as the ones they are having now.

Doge joined the Drua after playing for the Dragons FC in Wales.

The Super Rugby Pacific will begin on the 24th of next month.
