Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says they were fortunate to play in six local tournaments that has assisted in the team selection for the Langford and Toulouse 7s.

The Fijiana 7s team has not participated in any international 7s competition since their second-place finish in Dubai last December.

He says there has been a lot of hard work from the players in the past 8 weeks adding they are ready to take on the world, starting at the Canada tournament this week.

The Fijiana 7s team are in Pool C with USA, England and New Zealand.

Fiji will meet USA in their first match at 4.30am Sunday, then they will take on England at 7.56am Sunday in their second match and play New Zealand at 10.38am Sunday in their final match.

The cup quarterfinals will be at 5am Monday, the cup semifinal will be at 8.50am next Monday and the final will start at 11.58am next Monday.
