The players are fully aware of the importance of defending the title and the team is ready to rise to the challenge despite the pressure.

Labasa coach, Alvin Chand highlighted this while talking to fijivillage Sports as they look forward to the 2025 FMF Inter District Championship starting in Ba tomorrow.

Chand says the pressure comes naturally whenever Labasa takes the field because of their massive fan base and the legacy the team carries.

He says that with so much expectation, it is never easy, but the side is blessed to have experienced players who know how to handle the pressure.

The team has been in camp for the past week, and following two recent tournament wins, Chand believes the side has regained its confidence.

Labasa, the reigning IDC champions will play Nadi at 3.30pm tomorrow at 4R Stadium at Govind Park.

Rewa will play Nadroga in the first match at 1.30pm tomorrow.
