With a few hours left for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua vs the Blues match to kick off, Drua captain Mesake Doge says the players are confident of a win tonight.

The Drua has never beaten the Blues on home soil, and they will be hopeful that tonight will be that night.

Doge says he has reminded the players that the Blues are coming with the intention to win, and they will need to step up and play until the final whistle.

The Fijian Drua’s only previous Super Rugby Pacific meeting with the Blues in Fiji was in Round 10, 2023, ending in a 14-30 loss for the Drua; though, that was the closest margin of any of their four defeats to the Blues in the competition.

The Drua have lost two of their last three Super Rugby Pacific games at HFC Bank Stadium after winning four of their previous five games at the venue, and they have conceded more than 30 points in each of their last three games at the venue.

The Blues will face the Drua at 7.05 tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

In other matches this week, the Waratahs will play the Reds at 9.35pm tonight, the Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm tomorrow, and the Force will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm tomorrow.
