People should expect traffic at the Tamavua-i-Wai bridge tonight as there is a planned crane transportation at the bridge construction site.
The Fiji Roads Authority says a 120-tonne crane body will be transported via low bed/trailer from Site 3 to Site 1, following the route from Point A to Point B on the attached route plan.
The transportation is scheduled for 9 tonight and is expected to cause temporary disruptions along the designated path. FRA says traffic control will be in place to ensure the safe and smooth transfer of the crane.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution and follow all instructions from traffic officials.
