Concerns have been raised by residents of parts of Nakasi, Naulu and greater Nausori area that face disruptions in their water supply almost every night, without any notice.

Some Nakasi residents who do shift work contacted us and said that they face water cuts from around 10pm every night and water is restored in the morning.

A Farm Road resident says they face disruptions every night from 9pm to around 5am to 6am the next day.

A resident from Naduru Road in Nausori says they face low water pressure from around 7.30pm to 8pm daily, and by 8.30pm, there is no supply.

He says water is normally restored after 5am, and this happens on a daily basis.

The resident says the pressure in the flow of water is very low and sometimes they are without water even during the day.

We have sent questions to the Water Authority of Fiji on Monday and are waiting for a response.
