People gather as early as 10.30am for Rang Barse Stage Show at Rups Mega Complex

People have started gathering at the Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi for the Navtarang Sargam Rang Barse Stage Show.

Davuilevu Housing resident, Narayan Swami says he has been there since 10.30am to avoid massive crowd and sit in front.

He says he is there with his wife and grandchildren.

Swami says he is looking forward to the dance performances.

Saras Chand says she also arrived at 10.30am to get the best view of the performances.

She says she is looking forward to seeing her favourite personalities Satya Nand and Anamika Singh.

The Navtarang Sargam Rang Barse Stage Show begins at midday with the judging of the Rang Birangi Mithaiya Competition sponsored by Goldren Harvest Mixed Vegetable and Garden Peas.

The Yuva Dance Crew will be taking the stage at 1pm followed by Ronald Jai’s performance.

Other performers also include radio announcers, traditional drum groups and folk singers.

You will also get the chance to play with colours with the announcers.

The COVID-19 vaccination team is also there to register people.

You will only need to bring a valid ID to register.

The show is expected to conclude at 8pm.
