People can look forward to upcoming job opportunities after the completion of the newly refurbished Toorak Central building in Suva which will have various retail outlets and office spaces.

Owners of the $4.5 million building, Mount Sophia Group say it will have also have studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Group Founder and Managing Director, Avi Raju says the original building was built in the 1950’s and the refurbishment will incorporate and enhance elements of the unique features of the original building.

Raju says the comprehensive makeover of the property will include modernising internal spaces, complete upgrade of services as well as revamping the entire external facade.

He says the Toorak Central investment demonstrates their continued confidence in the Fijian economy.

Raju says while COVID-19 has created challenges locally and globally, they have decided to proceed with the development and take advantage of various incentives introduced by the Fijian government to boost the economic activity.

Architect Asia Pacific Inc Fiji are the appointed architects.
