Communications Fiji Limited General Manager, Charles Taylor says it was very successful as they had not done it in 5 years so they did not know what to expect.

Taylor says they were happy with the turnout.

He says his New Year's message to people is to be happy, be healthy and surround yourself with family and friends that uplift you and have a very successful 2024.

Mohammed Arshaad Ali and his family traveled the furthest to be at the Big Night Out as they came from Dreketi, Vanua Levu.

Ali says they were supposed to fly back to Labasa this morning but they "overslept" which is why they were able to attend tonight.

He says the whole family is here from his dad, siblings, cousins and grandmother as they had brought their dinner with them as well as some grog.

Ali says he has two New Year's resolutions.

Teea Tira who stays in Nasese had come down with her mother, sons and grandchildren for a family night out.

Tira says she heard about the Big Night Out on her favorite radio station FM96.

Cousins Alfred Rounds and David Vatucawaqa made their way over from Vuci Rd in Nausori to attend the Big Night Out and said they enjoyed themselves immensely.
