Parts of Ba Town were flooded again overnight following heavy rain.
Flood waters started entering some of the shops at around 10 o’clock last night.
Photos posted by the Ba Town Council shows flood waters inside the Ba market as well as shops and supermarkets which business owners and council workers spent the whole of last week cleaning up.
We have received confirmation that flood waters have started receding in parts of Ba Town.
A flood warning remains in force for low lying areas in Ba.
The Weather Office confirms that there has been significant rainfall in the last 24 hours.
There is a heavy rain alert in force for Viti Levu.
All this rain is being brought by a trough of low pressure affecting the Fiji group.
