44-year-old boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has announced that he has inked a deal with Rizin to compete in the promotion in 2023 against an opponent still to be determined.
The boxing legend appeared in the ring during the Rizin 40 card and addressed the crowd at the Saitama Super Arena.
A few months ago, Pacquiao was there as a guest, and now he has agreed with Rizin to fight next year.
He says the date will be announced soon and is also excited to fight a Japanese fighter.
Now Pacquiao will join Mayweather as part of the Rizin roster and will look to continue that momentum when he debuts with Rizin this year.
