The Digicel Fiji Kulas are prepared for their first game against Vanuatu as they have a good game plan in place.

Overseas based player Trina Davies says their training was good as they had a week to prepare in the heat of Honiara and she is very exited and eager as the team is energized to play their first match.

She says playing with the best team, having fun during the match and scoring goals is the main objective for the team as this is the first international match the team is playing in over a year.

Fiji women’s national team director Naziah Ali says training in Honiara was intense but fantastic as the team showed great spirit and adaptability, despite the challenging conditions.

She say the heat was quite intense, making the training session physically demanding, but we pushed through as a team.

Digicel Fiji Kulas will play Vanuatu at 4pm this afternoon while the Digicel Men’s team will play Tahiti at 8pm tonight.
