Pacific Energy will partner with Pacific Recycling Foundation for the commemoration of Global Recycling Day that will be celebrated on the 17th and 18th of next month at Sheraton Hotel in Nadi.

Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Energy Xavier Baronnet says since 2019, the company has dedicated itself to environmental sustainability for the good cause of recycling.

Baronnet says as a responsible corporate organization, it is important to ensure that they play an integral part in ensuring the space we live in is sustainable, especially in Fiji.

Director CEO of Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited and Founder of Pacific Recycling Foundation Amitesh Deo says this partnership reflects a very important element that will be a long-term partnership with Pacific Energy.

Deo adds Pacific Energy stepped in when they had no funds to initiate a day for the Global Recycling Day a few years ago.

He says this Wednesday they will officially launch two of their campaigns for Global Recycling Day at their headquarters in Koronivia, Nausori.
