Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH Hospitals) has announced its official sponsorship of the 2025 Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Tournament—one of the largest and most anticipated events for military families in Fiji. The three-day event is set to take place this September at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

This year’s tournament is being hosted by the Fiji Navy Wives and Mothers Club, marking the second time the group has taken on the role of lead organiser. The tournament, which has grown significantly over the years, brings together military families from both the land and naval forces of Fiji for a celebration of unity, sport, prayer, and fellowship.

“It’s not just about the sports. It is about bringing our families closer,” said one of the organisers.

A spokesperson for the organizing committee expressed gratitude to PSH Hospitals for their support.

“We thank PSH Hospitals for their big help. They have stood by our military families for over 12 years,” the spokesperson said.

PSH Hospitals has provided medical support and healthcare services to members of the military and their families since 2016. From general practice to advanced care, PSH Hospitals has been a long-standing healthcare provider for the defence community.

Chief executive officer and Founder of PSH Hospitals, Parvish Kumar, said he is proud to support the tournament and reaffirm the hospital’s commitment to military families.

“We are proud to support our military families, not just with sponsorship, but with the care and compassion they deserve every day,” said Kumar. “Our mission has always been to uplift communities and stand by those who serve.”

According to the organisers, the RFMF Tournament is more than just a sporting event. It offers a rare opportunity for military families to reconnect, reflect on their shared experiences, and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting.

The Fiji Navy Wives and Mothers Club, known for its commitment to service and community-building, has been actively planning the event for months. Members have worked closely with stakeholders and sponsors to ensure everything from logistics to entertainment is well prepared.

“The Navy wives are very proud to lead and show what they can do as a team,” said one committee member. “It’s about showing strength, leadership, and care for our military families.”

The tournament is open to the general public, and a strong turnout is expected. Organisers anticipate hundreds of attendees from across Fiji, including military personnel, their families, and supporters. The event will also welcome several dignitaries, including senior government officials and foreign diplomats from Australia, New Zealand, and China.

The involvement of PSH Hospitals goes beyond sponsorship, as the medical provider will also be on standby to offer support throughout the event. Medical staff will be available on-site to assist with any injuries or health-related concerns. PSH Hospitals, which operates facilities in both Nadi and Suva, has become known for its community-centered approach to healthcare. Over the years, it has sponsored a number of national events, outreach programs, and health awareness campaigns, but its ongoing relationship with the military community remains one of its most meaningful partnerships.

The RFMF Tournament has grown into a symbol of resilience, unity, and celebration for Fiji’s armed forces. It is expected to draw widespread media attention and community interest as the countdown to September begins.

With strong support from sponsors like PSH Hospitals, the Fiji Navy Wives and Mothers Club says it is ready to deliver an unforgettable event. “We are ready to welcome everyone. With PSH and our partners behind us, this will be one of the best tournaments yet,” said the committee member.
