To kick off the 16 Days of Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence, the Pacific Sexual & Gender Diversity Network have achieved two milestones, the launch of their website and also releasing their regional news letter ‘The Queernesians’.

PSGDN Chief Executive Officer, Isikeli Vulavou highlighted that in a world where information spreads like wildfire, accessing the right type of information is paramount, and that is exactly what their website and newsletter will provide, the right and most updated information.

Vulavou hopes that in time their website will become a hub of gender diverse researches, publications and a one stop shop for information on the regional LGBTQI movement.

The CEO says it will also have a directory and contact details for referrals to specific services that are available in-country for LGBTQI people.

He says their regional newsletter spotlights their work and the work of their implementing partners.

Vulavou says it is also to build capacity for their National Member Organisation in the region by ensuring they receive the right information, and their voices are amplified throughout the world.
