The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards, scheduled for Saturday, 29th November 2025, will celebrate local enterprise achievements and innovations, boosting economic growth, creating job opportunities, and enhancing Fiji’s global standing.

With the theme Navigating Global Winds – Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth, the awards will spotlight how Fijian businesses have adapted to global changes and are leading in areas such as climate resilience, digital transformation, and inclusive growth.

This recognition is expected to not only reward top-performing businesses but also inspire others to innovate, creating a ripple effect that benefits the entire community.

The CEO of Investment Fiji, Kamal Chetty says the awards offer valuable exposure to both winners and participants.

He says for businesses, it is a chance to be recognised at the highest level, unlocking opportunities for growth, collaboration, and new markets.

He adds that this recognition can drive greater confidence among consumers, investors, and partners, helping businesses expand their reach and impact.

The awards cover 15 categories, including Forestry, Fisheries, E-Commerce, and Innovation.

Chetty says that by highlighting excellence in a variety of industries, they can encourage best practices, boost employment, and foster sustainable growth across all areas of Fiji’s economy.

The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards will also provide a platform for individuals and businesses to inspire others in their communities, fostering a culture of resilience and innovation.

Chetty urges all eligible businesses to apply before the deadline, noting that participation could help unlock new opportunities both locally and internationally.

Applications close on 25th July 2025.
