Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has offered his apology to the nation and the Opposition for not inviting the the Opposition parliamentarians to State events.

Rabuka stated this to fijivillage News while responding to Independent MP Inia Seruiratu’s comments in Parliament earlier this week on why members of the Opposition were not invited to State events saying it was a mistake and it will not happen again.

The Prime Minister says someone had taken it that the previous guest list did not allow the Opposition MPs for some previous State functions.

He says he was not aware of it as it should not have happened.

Rabuka adds moving forward all the legislators of the State and Members of Parliament should be present at all State functions.
