Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has paid his final respects to late Dewan Chand, the founder of Quality Print PTE Limited and a former National President of the Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.

Chand, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, was recognised for his business, community leadership and charitable causes.

Rabuka says throughout his life, Chand has exemplified the virtues of love and friendship and these values not only shaped his life but also left a remarkable example of compassion.

He says beyond his professional success, Chand’s legacy extended to his active involvement in various charitable organisations and his leadership.

The Prime Minister further says if there is one lesson we can learn from him, it is to live as he did.

He adds that wherever we serve, whether it is within our families, communities, civil society, corporate or government sector, let us always uphold the values of love and friendship in all we do.
