Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has conveyed his condolences to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of UAE, on the passing of the their President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Bainimarama says Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was a pillar of fortitude and an exceptional visionary leader for the UAE.
He says his wisdom, passion and commitment to lead and transform UAE to become a modern and progressive nation has been exemplary and a true inspiration.
Bainimarama says Fijians stand in solidarity with the people of UAE at this time of great sorrow, as we remember the life of a great global leader.
