Overseas based players, Trina Davis and Vanisha Kumar, will be part of the Fiji Kulas women’s team to the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands.

National Women’s Team Director Naziah Ali says the two players will add strength to the team.

Ali says 15-year-old Seruwaia Laulaba who was awarded the Under 16 OFC Player of the tournament in Tahiti earlier this year is also part of the team.

She says the team has been preparing well for the Pacific Games and were able to have a good outing at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes testing the stamina and strength of the team.

She also says there were some challenges for the selectors while selecting the final squad as it was a tight competition between the hardworking girls.

The Fiji Kulas will play there first pool match against Vanuatu on 21st of this month.
