More than 1,000 people turned up at All Saints Secondary School and Saint Mary’s Primary School in Labasa today to receive their first and second dose of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.
The Ministry of Health is aiming to vaccinate around 87,271 people in the Northern Division.
They say the positive turnout is indicative of the eagerness of the public to be vaccinated so they can be protected against COVID-19.
