The Outrigger Resort and Spa has stepped in to assist families in the area who are currently in home isolation by giving them grocery packs.

The resort delivered around 20 packs to the families yesterday.

General Manager Darren Shaw says following the positive cases in Sigatoka, they noticed that some families were put into home isolation on a very short notice and they could not buy groceries on time.

Shaw says they decided to prepare food packs for these families and is thankful to some of the staff who also contributed from their side.

He adds they are planning to assist more families with food packs in the coming days.
