Hopes of getting into the top six of the Shop n Save Pacific Super Rugby Pacific are gone for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, and while the players had a lot to play for—with Mother's Day celebrations and the passing of Josaia Raisuqe affecting the team—they each have different ways of coping, and it's just a shame they could not put up a performance against the Blues.
This was shared by the Drua coach Glen Jackson as the team currently has settled for last spot on the points table.
Jackson says it was very disappointing to loose to the Blues who came with a game plan and executed it well.
He says the six-day turn around in various conditions can affect preparations as well and its just a shame they could not deliver the results they wanted.
Captain Mesake Doge says the Blues outplayed them and was very technical throughout the match.
When questioned by fijivillage Sports on his message on Mother’s day, Doge has thanked all mothers for all they do.
Looking at the points table the Chiefs are leading with 12 points, the Brumbies are in second also with 12 points, the Crusades in third place with 11 points, the Reds in fourth place with 11 points and the Blues in fifth place.
