Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli stated this today when questioned by the media on their preparation for the next leg in the HSBC SVNS Series.
Fuli says they are continuing with their training while most teams will be taking their leave during the festive season.
He says it is always challenging when tournaments fall before or after the festive season especially Christmas and New Year but they have to continue the journey.
On lessons learnt in Cape Town and Dubai, Fuli says they need to be consistent in terms of controlling what they have and also be clinical when they do not have the ball.
Fuli adds their defensive shape is a key area they need to focus on as well as controlling their restarts.
The next leg of the HSBC SVNS Series is in Perth from the 26th to the 28th of January.
