Rabuka says he thanked Bainimarama for what he has done for Fiji

Newly elected Prime Minister and People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka

Newly elected Prime Minister and People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says our democracy works and says he knew the voting was going to be close.

While speaking outside Parliament after being elected PM, Rabuka says they will have to build on what the previous government has done.

He says he talked to former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and thanked him.
