Only the Fiji Airways Men’s national 7s side and South Africa have defeated table toppers Argentina in the HSBC SVNS series this season.
South Africa beat Argentina 12-7 in the Dubai final while Fiji overpowered them 19-12 in pool play in Cape Town.
In yesterday’s pool games Fiji defeated Spain 31-12 before dispatching Canada 22-12.
The men’s cup quarter finals are at 2.22pm this afternoon, the cup semi finals kick off at 8.43am tomorrow with the cup final at 1.23pm tomorrow
